Artefact Group + Josephwood Studio for Commbank at SXSW

Artefact Group Pty Ltd partnered with Commonwealth Bank to explore the transformative potential of machine learning and cybersecurity awareness through interactive applications. To bring this vision to life, Artefact Group engaged Josephwood Studio to develop the hardware for an arcade-style memory game and several web applications.

Josephwood Studio played a key role in engineering the game’s electronic cabinet, integrating LED-lit, touch-sensitive buttons into a robust design that delivered an engaging and playful user experience. Meanwhile, their development of web-based tools, such as a real-time scam visualization map, showcased innovative approaches to cybersecurity awareness.

This collaboration resulted in solutions that simplified complex technologies, empowering users while highlighting the adaptability of machine learning and the importance of cybersecurity.
